Virginia Tech Police are searching for the owners of some exotic pets found on campus Thursday.
According to a post on the Virginia Tech Police Facebook page, officers found the animals in a steam tunnel near Saunders Hall.
The list includes:
- Snakes
- Lizards
- Rabbit
- Mice
- Spiders
Each animal was in a cage or container. No pictures or video of the animals was available Thursday.
The police department wrote that investigators do not believe the animals were abandoned, and officers want to get them back to their rightful owners.
