A fund is set up for Hayworth and Payne’s 6-month-old baby.
The Tyler D. Payne fund is at Elizabethton Federal Bank in Mountain City. The money from this fund will be used to care for Tyler who lost both his parents and is now being cared for by his grandmother.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest of the person or persons responsible for the shooting deaths of a Johnson County couple earlier this week.
At approximately 10:00 am on Tuesday, Jan. 31 36-year-old Billy Payne and 23-year-old Billie Hayworth were found shot to death in their home located at 128 James Davis Ln. Mountain City, Tenn. The couple’s eight month old baby was found in Hayworth’s arms when the bodies were discovered, but was not injured. The couple lived there with Payne’s father who left for work at approximately 5:30 a.m. The TBI and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office are working on solving the double homicide and the TBI is now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
