A former Assistant District Attorney may be facing even more allegations of attempting to trade leniency for sexual favors.
Five women filed civil complaints against former Hawkins County ADA Doug Godbee. One more complaint is pending.
The women say Godbee offered them lenience in criminal cases in return for sexual favors and threatened prison time if they did not comply.
Their attorney Robert Whitaker was in Rogersville Thursday meeting with three more women and one man.
Whitaker said they allege Godbee used his position of power in a way similar to what is outlined in the five complaints already filed.
He believes there will be plenty more allegations to come.
"I'm aware of notice to the state that is even beyond what's public as of right now," said Whitaker.
Whitaker plans to ask the state to wave the statute of limitations for civil cases like these.
Whitaker said for tort cases, which is what his clients complaints fall under, the statute of limitations is one year.
But, he said he has clients who have complaints that go back several years.
