A small segment of Rock Springs Rd. will be closed Wednesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 5 between West Valley Dr. and Rock Springs Valley Dr., with Oak Haven Dr. being used as a bypass.
Crews will wait until school traffic has passed before closing the road. The second closure will occur Saturday, May 7 between West Valley Dr. and the Edinburgh / John Adams Elementary School entrance.
The closures are necessary to allow installation of five sewer laterals and five water laterals. This Saturday's closure will see traffic diverted down West Valley Dr. to Mill Creek Rd. and back to Rock Springs Rd.
Barricades will route Edinburgh traffic towards Mill Creek. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution in the work zones, and planning travel ahead of time when possible.
