Recent complaints by hikers and park goers about inappropriate activity in Buffalo Mountain Park led police undercover to get the behavior out of the park.
One week ago, an investigator cited five men between the ages of 40 and 67 in Buffalo Mountain Park for indecent exposure and some were masturbating.
Two of them were also cited for simple assault for grabbing the officer's genitals.
"We're encouraging anyone visiting our parks, if they see anything that concerns them, we encourage them to contact the police department," said Johnson City Police Captain Mike Street
Police continue to patrol the park looking for inappropriate behavior and are stepping up patrols in all city parks.
