When it's time to take out the trash in Johnson City you'll be dumping some more money as well.
City Commissioners Thursday night agreed to hike the rate the city charges residential and commercial customers by $1.00 a month for solid waste collection.
If you've purchased an additional garbage cart, you'll pay an additional $3.50 per month.
The monthly rate had been $8.00 per months. The increase only applies to customers inside the city limits.
