In early May Briana Hall had the life of most any high school senior. Her days were full of friends, homework and cheerleading but all that changed on May 11, when her car slide off the road and struck a tree.
Briana's dad, Bill Hall, said she suffered a serious brain injury and spent several weeks in a comma. When she was able to travel she spent the next several months going back and forth between Greene County and an Atlanta children's hospital.
Four months later, Briana was back for North Greene High School's homecoming on Thursday night as a member of the homecoming queen court.
Bill Hall said its only been a few weeks since Briana has been able to walk and eat. He said her presence at Thursday's homecoming is nothing short of a miracle.
Briana still suffers short term memory loss making conversations difficult but her family and friends say she is making enormous strides everyday.
On Thursday night, in front of a packed homecoming football crowd, Briana Hall became the 2010 North Greene High School Homecoming Queen.
