BRISTOL, Va. -- The Bristol Virginia School System honored the Class of 2010 with the annual Senior Luncheon at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Tessa Arnold, class president, guided the class through a series of traditional activities. Other senior participants included class officers: Jonathan Combs, vice president; Abigail Shankel, secretary; Ciera Washington, treasurer; and Andrea Allison, reporter. Also featured in the program were the senior members of the choral program, accompanied by Ms. Raejean Harman, Choral Director. Ms. Holly Fuller served as faculty sponsor for the luncheon.
Dr. Martin Ringstaff, principal, and representatives from community and educational organizations presented awards to the outstanding members of the senior class for scholarship, achievement, service, and leadership. Ms. Lynda McClanahan, senior awards chairperson, and Ms. Connie Boger, guidance counselor, assisted with the presentations.
