A Johnson City man is set to appear in court today after police charged him with identity theft.
Johnson City Police arrested George B. Aukes Tuesday and charged him with 15 counts of identity theft.
A woman told police Aukes stole her credit card. According to police, Aukes charged $553.35 on the card and used it throughout Johnson City.
Police are holding Aukes at the Washington County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond.
