The Carter County Sheriff's Department is on the scene of a fatal crash Saturday evening. Officers tell us the crash happened around 5 this evening on Highway 91. Our crew on the scene says one person was killed in the crash, but the victim's identity has not been released at this hour.
Dispatchers contacted 11 Connects and told us Dave Buck Road to "Malfunction Junction" has been closed due to the crash. Police ask that drivers take another route for the next few hours till the area has been cleared.
