Two people have been arrested after police say they stole medication from a nursing home in Kingsport. Employees at Holston Manor on Memorial Boulevard noticed two subjects walking around their facility on February 5, around 8 p.m. Shortly afterward, an employee noticed that the nursing home's medicine cart had been broken into. The lock had been pried open and the elderly resident’s medicine had been stolen. After the discovery, the two subjects were observed leaving the facility. Employees of Holston Manor gave chase but were unable to catch the subjects.
Vice Detectives conducted an investigation into the burglary and theft, and were able to develop two suspects in this case. Warrants were taken for Timothy Wayne Henry and Elisa Minton Henry, both of Kingsport. Both were charged with burglary and theft over $1000.
Elisa Minton Henry has been arrested and warrant served. Timothy Wayne Henry is currently incarcerated at the Morgan County Correctional Facility awaiting transport back to Kingsport Jail. Kingsport Police say this investigation was successful as a direct result of the outstanding cooperation of the staff and management of Holston Manor.
