Methods needed to slow speeders on all streets

»  Comments | Post a Comment

I think it is fine to have any deterrent possible to slow people down speeding in their cars so they don’t hurt themselves or anyone else. But we need this in residential neighborhoods, not just the highways.
I live on Old Jonesboro Road, between Evergreen and Chatham Road, and people speed every day, some excessively. I don’t have a radar gun, but I estimate they are going in the 60 to 70 mph range.
It doesn’t matter to them what the condition of the road is and I, for one, would not like to see someone crash into one of these homes or hit someone coming out of a side street. So, please, will someone slow these people down?
