Jan. 21
* Two guys got into a fist fight on Buchanan Street about 5 p.m. They were gone by the time police arrived.
* A Moore Street man called police at 6 p.m. to say that his mother stole an air mattress he was storing at a friend’s house, and “he would like it back without a fight.” Police deemed it a “civil matter.”
* After being “beat up pretty good” about 10 p.m., a man on Euclid Avenue at first refused help, but relented moments later and was ushered to the hospital.
Jan. 22
* A man called from Bob Morrison Boulevard to report 190 gallons of fuel were stolen out of his tractor trailer at 11 a.m.
* Old Airport Road was crawling with mildly suspicious activity. First, at 11:20 p.m., two people were reportedly sitting in an old Mustang, parked in a driveway, “talking and smoking.” Minutes later, someone reported a man “going into [the] window” of a home. The woman who lives there told police the burglar was actually her boyfriend, and they’d locked themselves out.

Jan. 25
* A woman called police to say she was “worried about her son and some of her property” on Caroline Avenue, because her daughter-in-law “allegedly stated that she was intending to damage the property before she moved out the next morning.”
Jan. 26
* Police went to a Southside Avenue apartment where a bickering couple told them they were “arguing over who could use the computer.”
* When police pulled him over for running a stop sign, a man considered it logical to take off on foot. Police discovered he was driving on a suspended license, found and arrested him.
