Virginia State Police issue endangered child alert for 11-year-old girl

Virginia State Police have issued an Endangered Missing Child Alert for 11-year-old Alexis Cartwright.
Police say she's about five feet three inches tall, and weighs around 137 pounds.
She has blue eyes and sandy brown hair.

Virginia State Police are working in conjunction with the New Kent County Sherrif's Office.
Investigators believe she's in danger, and was last seen Sunday evening at the Cumberland Children's Hospital in New Kent County, Va.
That's about 380 miles from the Tri-Cities region.

Police believe Alexis may be with Lemuel Cartwright.
Investigators say he's 55-years-old, about six feet seven inches tall, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police think they could be headed to North Carolina in a blue 1993 Dodge Ram Pick-Up truck, with North Carolina registration: XYZ-8450.
