Couple arrested for burglary in Boone

A man and a woman have been arrested in Watuaga County, NC for allegedly burglarizing a home.

A man and a woman have been arrested in Watuaga County, NC for allegedly burglarizing a home.

According to the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office , Travis Joseph Fuller, 19, and Michelle Anna Dennis, 20, both of Banner Elk, NC have been arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession of stolen property, misdemeanor injury to real property and misdemeanor injury to personal property.

The charges stem from a break-in reported Tuesday, Jan. 23 by a seasonal resident on Appaloosa Trail in Boone, NC. The home-owner returned to Boone and found his home had been broken in to and his possessions were gone.

Both Fuller and Dennis are currently in the Watauga County Detention Center under bond. They are awaiting a March 29 court date.
