Late last week a search warrant was executed on Imperial Drive, near Kingsport.
According to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department, they entered the house and found five baggies containing marijuana, digital scales, mushroom spores and a refrigerator in the living room where anabolic steriods were stored.
In the basement, police report they found an indoor marijuana grow. Ten plants were found growing. Also found in this area were paper bags containing green plant material believed to be marijuana.
All of the plants and other seized items will be sent to the TBI lab for analysis identification.
On Monday, August 23, an owner of the property, Travis Trent, was charged and remains incarcerated with on a $50,000 bond. A warrant also has been issued for Van Trent, Travis' father, but he has not been located.
Both Travis and Van Trent have been charged with: Maintaining a Dwelling where Narcotics are sold or stored, Manufacturing Schedule I and Schedule VI, Possession of Schedule VI for resale, Possession of Anabolic Steroids and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
