A West Tennessee AMBER Alert, which originated out of the Memphis area, has been canceled. Police found 4-month old Skylar Mansel safe and sound. Officers believe Jerry R. Taylor took Mansel. Taylor is now in custody.

A West Tennessee AMBER Alert has been issued for 4 month-old Skylar Mansel. Skylar is a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 18 inches long and weighs 15 pounds. She was wearing a blue onesie. Skylar was taken by Jerry R. Taylor on April 15, 2010 at approximately 8:50 p.m. Taylor stole the vehicle Skylar was sitting in and left with the child still in the vehicle. Taylor has made threats to Skylar's safety. Taylor was last seen driving an extended cab 1992 Toyota pickup with faded red paint and a white camper top on top of the truck bed with Tennessee license plate 424NNN. The plates do not match the truck. Taylor has a lengthy and violent criminal history.
