I am writing this letter concerning restaurant food. I have been in some fast food restaurants to eat and have noticed that the employees who prepare the food do not wear gloves. I think that it should be a law that all restaurants should have employees who prepare food to wear gloves.
There are so many germs and diseases that are spread through non-cleanliness. When a person orders food, they don’t know if an employee has spit in the food or not. There have been cases where employees were caught on tape spitting on food (pizza). There are other cases where hair has been found in food. No one knows what goes on in restaurants. All customers know is that the food, plates, glasses, cups and silverware are supposed to be clean.
Hair nets (under caps, usually worn by some employees) and gloves should be made mandatory.
When a family goes out to eat they shouldn’t have to worry if the food is clean or not. Health inspectors should reprimand or fine these restaurants for not following clean protocol. Restaurant managers and personnel please make sure your employees wear hair nets and gloves!
