Writers Grieving Over Hit-And-Run Of Pet Dog

»  Comments | Post a Comment

We have been residents of Bristol all our lives and never thought we would feel the way we do now: Bristol is no longer a good place to live thanks to inconsiderate jerks like the one we encountered on 13th Street on Aug. 15.

A man came flying down the hill and hit and killed our dog. He didn’t stop to apologize and he was traveling so fast that three people who saw what happened could not get a tag number.

So if you are the inconsiderate jerk, know this: The dog you killed belonged to a boy who has been blind since he was 11 months old. Would you have stopped if you had hit a child? We fear not.

So with people like that, living here it is not a good place to live.

Some people would say it was just a dog. But it wasn’t; it was like a family member.
