I get so frustrated with people who are quoted as saying that the Obama administration is the cause of their woes. Good people, have you forgotten that the housing crisis has been in existence for over three years?
Have you forgotten that many of our companies have outsourced their jobs, leaving Americans with less employment opportunities? Have you forgotten that each individual has a responsibility to use credit wisely and not take on more debt than they can repay?
I don’t know if what President Obama is doing will work, but at least he is trying. He has been in this job for less than nine months, he inherited this mess. Give the man a chance! How soon we forget that all these problems have been around longer than he has been in office.
The hoopla about President Obama’s address to students was just plain stupid. How can you judge what the man was going to say before he said it? If you had concerns, then you should have recorded the event and reviewed it before you made a judgment and kept quiet until you had actually heard what he said.
I get many forwarded e-mails about things that the president said or did that are just plain false. I would encourage anyone who gets an e-mail alleging things, that you check out its validity at snopes.com or fact check.org before you believe what you have been sent and before you send it on to others.
Never in my 46 years of being an adult have I heard such hatred and paranoia focused on our president. Those engaging in this type of thinking and behaving should be ashamed.
