The history of America's flying, military past will be on display at the Lonesome Pine Airport in Wise, Virginia this weekend.

The "Spirit of Freedom", a C-54 plane used during the Berlin Air Drop, will be just one of the planes to make an appearance at the "Let Freedom Ring" event. Plane from the Korean War, Vietnam and World War II eras will be on hand.

The event is being held in honor of veterans and the 65th anniversary of D-Day.
