President shouldn't bow to other nations' leaders

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Since President Barack Obama took office 11 months ago, he has traveled all over the world – more than any president in my lifetime. He has met kings, queens, presidents, dictators, emperors and rulers from all over the world. President Obama has a bow problem. He bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia awhile back and recently bowed to the emperor of Japan. I agree that President Obama should show respect to other leaders of the world, but to bow (in my opinion) goes way too far. When President Obama greeted Queen Elizabeth, he did not bow to her. Why did he not bow to Queen Elizabeth but bowed to a Muslim king and an emperor? I have no clue. Maybe you can draw your own conclusion.
Mr. President, let me, a country boy from Southwest Virginia, give you some advice. No U.S. president should bow to any man or woman. There is only one that man should bow to; that is God!
Another thing Mr. President, please don’t travel all over the world and apologize in your eyes what American leaders and our military did wrong (again from your prospective). You, Mr. President, walked on the soil in foreign countries that thousands and thousands of our U.S. soldiers bleed to their deaths fighting for the freedom of Americans and for the freedom of countries all over Europe/Asia and many other areas. You, Mr. President, should be ashamed of yourself. The only person you should apologize to are all living U.S. soldiers and to the families of fallen and deceased soldiers.
Back to the bowing problem: If the president keeps bowing, his back is going to go out on him and he may need that Obamacare that he and Congress are trying to push down our throats. Oh – I nearly forgot – the president and congress have their own health care (far better than Obamacare). He and Congress will stay with their current health care package – no Obamacare for them.
In closing, remember Mr. President, bow before no man – bow only to God!
