Some of the families served by charities should get guidance about spending priorities

»  Comments | Post a Comment

It is a very good idea to support our charities that provide for the poor and hungry all through the year and not just during holidays.

I would also like to see these charities promote good health issues to the people they serve, such as how to quit smoking or consuming alcohol.
Some families in need put tobacco and alcohol products first with their money and we all know the cost of tobacco and alcohol products are high. In some cases, there seems to be money for tobacco or alcohol, but not for food or clothing for the family.

Giving is very honorable, but these families need guidance about priorities within their household.

Just a thought, but please give to charities this year!
