The Bristol Music Club thanks the many Bristol and area residents who opened their hearts and pocketbooks to make Nov. 13 a very special day for the more than 350 men and women who attended our scholarship benefit.
Not only did those present enjoy good food and an elegant fashion show, they were awed and inspired by the spectacular musical performances of three young men, pianists Zachary Hughes and Ming Wilson, and violinist Benjamin Dawson. These young artists are former recipients of our scholarship audition awards which were made possible by your support of the club’s commitment to encouraging the musical development of the young people in our Mountain Empire.
Our deep and sincere appreciation is for all the patrons and donors who have helped in many ways to ensure that the string of 45 years of the scholarship program will not only continue, but will thrive as is grows to influence many young musicians in the future.
