I have never written a letter to the editor before, but I just have to respond to the lady who says people just aren’t listening to President Obama, except for Sweden, since they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize.
Maybe she doesn’t realize that although he has often “spoken” of world peace, the Nobel Peace Prize is historically given to those who have “done” something. This president has not yet accomplished this.
As far as people “waking up” before it’s too late, that is exactly what many Americans are doing – waking up to the fact that many of our freedoms are disappearing and we had better be on the alert. We cannot afford to blindly follow those in power and allow them to limit or take away the freedom we enjoy.
