Elizabethton, Tenn. -- Elizabethton Police said a car driving eastbound on Highway 67 crossed the median, and crashed into a car driving westbound.
Officers with the Elizabethton Police Department said women were driving both cars. The one that was hit had a toddler in the backseat. All three of them were transported to the Johnson City Medical Center with injuries. Police said none of those injuries were considered life-threatening.
Carter County Rescue Squad, the Elizabethton Fire Department, a wrecker, and several maintenence workers aided in the crash.
The crash limited westbound commuters to one lane for hours.
