It seems the hottest topic of today is the new health care plan. Some say they can’t afford a health care plan. Well, we all know we need one because everyone gets sick from time to time, and none of us are here to stay forever.
We know death is the inevitable, but we can have a viable option to be healthier and happier while we are living. There are millions who can’t afford health insurance, yet many refuse to take the first thought of living healthier.
America is considered number one in “junk food” and poor diet causing too many obese people. Obesity can cause many health issues, yet we still like the taste of “junk” and cower at the word exercise.
Exercise is the best medicine anyone can take. Seems there are so many seeking a high these days, especially young people, and exercise is a good and beneficial one. When you take, at least, one-half hour of exercise, each or every other day, it can start the blood circulating, and raise the chemicals: endorphins, serotonin and dopamine in the brain, helping to chase out disease and pain in our body. Add some fresh vegetables and fruit, whole grain, water instead of sodas, and some love, and it will work miracles in your life. Always add some kind of protein to your diet. These should be a part of our daily routine. Until we do we’re inviting ourselves to a premature death.
There are so many people who say they hate exercise. Well it is a choice and it can also be fun, knowing you are working toward a fit and healthy body. When we learn that we can feel better, look better, and that it helps ward off disease and gluttony, we will learn to appreciate exercise.
Also some other unhealthy habits are: cigarettes, alcohol, and illegal drugs. These are highs, too, and they are also killers. Beware of them at all costs because it is only a crutch that no one needs. It can cause a worthless life. We don’t need to be their victim. Value your life, because God does. Our body is the temple of God. We need to treat it with great respect. Say no to these unhealthy habits and make some good ones today.
