n A Hickory Drive woman called police when she found “a black bull over 3,000 pounds in her backyard and she does not know who it belongs to.”
n While working at a Lee Highway furniture store, a woman “watched a female in a white car sit and talk on her cell phone. While talking, she kept opening and closing her vehicle door.” Unfortunately, the furniture store employee’s car was parked just next to the cell phone talker’s, yet it wasn’t until the employee got home that she discovered damage to that side of her car.
n A Euclid Avenue quilt store employee recognized the woman who abducted an $8 pattern and fled in a silver Honda at 5 p.m.
n Police arrested a drunken man seen scampering across Commonwealth Avenue from the Wing Doctor to Andy’s Market at 9 p.m.

Nov. 14
n An employee of a Volunteer Parkway burger joint called police to say that while she was working the previous evening, someone lifted her cell phone from the restaurant. She said it was likely her coworker.
Nov. 15
n Police happened upon a man “stumbling and having a hard time standing up” in a vacant corner of South Beach club’s parking lot at 12:30 a.m. They arrested him only after “it was determined he was intoxicated and was a danger to himself.”
n Officers went to Raytheon Road where a hunter reported a possible trespassing, theft and, or, vandalism in progress because he saw several strange cars parked nearby after hours. Officers caught up with the suspected interloper who told them that she works there, had keys to prove it and “someone must have thought she was a trespasser.”
Neighborhood Watch
n The Sandy Ridge Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. today at Meade’s Chapel Church in Coeburn.
n Washington County’s Zion Community Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. today at Zion United Methodist Church in Damascus.
