Griffin Judy has been named as the Phil Bachman Toyota and 11 Connects Student of The Week. He's a 5th grader at Southside Elementary School in Johnson City. Griffin gets straight A's and is a top student in his class. Judy enjoys everything about school, but likes math the most.
"It's fun, you learn a lot in math," Judy said.
Griffin said he wants to attend college and as far as a career he's thinking about becoming a policeman or even a teacher. Peggy Voitlein is Griffin's math teacher. She believes Griffin will succeed no matter what he does in the future.
"He's is going to do a fabulous job because he is just so motivated and he has wonderful support from his parents, from his peers and of course from his teachers," said Peggy Voitlein, teacher.
Griffin said he’s honored to be recognized as a top student in the tri-cities.
"It means that I've been good, it's kind of like a reward," said Judy.
