I’m really flabbergasted that the YWCA could take such a stance against the Haven of Rest. What is life all about anyway? Isn’t it helping one another? I may be mistaken but I thought that was what the YWCA was about, too.
In fact, several years ago I decided to donate $100 a year to the First Ladies program. If the YWCA stops the Haven of Rest from expanding, I think the Haven of Rest could use my $100 more. The Sunday editorial stating how the YWCA and Haven of Rest should focus on shared mission is great. A compromise!
