A Rogersville man has been arrested for felony Child Abuse, after his 5 year old son told a representative of the Tennessee Department of Children Services that his father became upset with him and kicked him in the side repeatedly. On November 11th, the Hawkins County Sheriff's Department and the TDCS representative went to 231 Klepper Estates Drive in Rogersville to investigate a possible child abuse. The victim told them his father, 35 year old Everette Michael Turner, had become upset with him and kicked him repeatedly in the side. The child was taken to Hawkins County Emergency Room for treatment and evaluation and released to his mother. Turner, who is listed at 6'8", 357 pounds, on the arrest warrant, is still behind bars in the Hawkins County Jail, on a $10,000 bond.
