Update: 9:05 a.m.
WGRV reports that there were five wrecks this morning on 11E along the Big Ridge in Mosheim. They happened just after 7:30 a.m.
A fire department official told WGRV the first crash occurred in the northbound lane of 11E near the top of the Big Ridge. This wreck caused a chain reaction of other vehicles.
Greene County dispatchers told 11 Connects that all lanes of 11E opened just before 9 a.m.
WGRV reports one person was taken to a local hospital while several others were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

This morning, there is a traffic note to pass along out of Greene County.
Dispatchers tell 11 Connects that there are multiple vehicles involved in a large wreck on 11E along the Big Ridge in Mosheim. Dispatchers couldn't give us an exact number of vehicles involved in the crash.
According to officials, there are injuries reported in connection with the wreck, but at this point dispatchers say the number of people hurt is unclear and the extent of their injuries is unknown.
