Friday afternoon at 12:45, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Tina M. Durham, 46, for being a habitual motor offender and several traffic violations. Durham was pulled over after police noticed the tag on her car belonged to another car. When police pulled her over, reports state that they found her license was revoked and that she was classified as a habitual motor offender. Durham is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center with a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court today, Nov. 16.
November 14
Saturday night at 11:50 officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Donald E. Bowman, 43, of 139 Heritage Drive, Rogersville, and charged him with domestic assault as well as several other charges.
The arrest, according to reports, came after Bowman allegedly assaulted his wife and was then seen at the Roadrunner Market on Princeton road – driving under the influence of alcohol.
Bowman was charged with D.U.I, driving on a revoked, habitual motor offender, violation of the implied consent law as well as domestic assault. He is currently in the Washington County Detention Center with a $8,000 bond and will appear in court today.
Also on Saturday, local police picked up a man they say threatened another man with a knife and vandalized two cars in Colony Park. Robert H Willis, 43, no address, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, vandalism over $500 and public intoxication. Willis is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
November 15
On Sunday, police report that they arrested a Jefferson City resident for felony shoplifting and vandalism. Jessica N. Price, 21, was arrested in conjunction with an event that occurred at Lowes, 180 Market Place Boulevard in Johnson City. She is currently being held on a $6,000 bond and will appear in court today.
