Veterans Day ceremony dedicates Veterans Walk of Honor Phase II in Elizabethton

An Elizabethton Veterans Day ceremony dedicated phase two of the Veterans Walk of Honor.

Phase two adds another wall and thousands of Carter county veterans to the Walk of Honor.

The ceremony included a twenty-one gun salute and the playing of Taps.

Veterans say the wall is a good way for Carter County to remember those who served their country.

"I think it's nice that people appreciate what some people have done for them," said Carter County veteran Aaron VonCannon.

If you didn't get your veteran family member or loved one on the wall, don't worry.

At the ceremony the Veterans War Memorial committee announced that from December 1st to January 31st, more bricks will go on sale.
