Cecilia Miller is this week's Phil Bachman Toyota and 11 Connects Student of The Week. She's a senior at David Crockett High School in Jonesborough, Tennessee. She's also a straight A student.
"I like anatomy, physiology and AP stats," Miller said.
The 17 year-old works hard in the classroom, but still volunteers with several organizations in the area. Cecilia said she likes to help people.
"It makes me feel really good to know that I can help somebody achieve something that they might not be able to do without help," said Miller.
Helping others is also why Cecilia wants to become an optometrist. She's planning on attending East State University. No matter where Miller goes to college or what she does with her life, teachers like William Lunsford believe Cecilia's potential is unlimited.
"Anyone who has a good work ethic and is as conscientious as she is will do well in college and graduate school as well and I see her excelling in anything that she would like to do in her future," said William Lunsford, teacher.
