Sunday night an ATV accident claimed the life of a Jonesborough teen.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Department at 6:30 last night police responded to 139 Eisenhower Road, Jonesborough, Tn. on an ATV crash.
When Deputies arrived Washington County EMS was attempting to revive a fifteen year old female juvenile who was later identified as Solana Lyle 15, of 254 Malone Hollow Rd. Lyle was riding a four wheeler on family property when she lost control and crashed.
The teen was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital where she died a short time later. Preliminary investigation shows that the Lyle was wearing a helmet and suffered internal injuries.
The Investigation is being conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office CRASH Team.
