* A Randolph Street woman evidently left her pocketbook, containing $1,800 cash, inside her car parked outside her house, unattended for three days. She told police at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday that the “last time she’d seen the purse or drove the car was on Saturday.”
* A Denton Lane woman called police at 7:48 p.m. to say that her boyfriend, whose license is suspended, was trying to “take her white Chrysler.” She called back to cancel the report once she drove off in her own car.
* Police were on the lookout for a white Chevy S-10 pickup, after the man driving it tried to pass a fake $100 bill at the Burger King drive-thru, then took off in an unknown direction.
