BRISTOL, Tenn. -- The United Way of Bristol Tenn.-Va. may miss its fundraising goal for the second year in a row, Executive Director Lisa Cofer said this afternoon.
United Way officials set a $1.25 million goal for its current campaign, which started in August and will end Nov. 30.
So far, Cofer said the agency has raised $775,000, and that might be all it gets this year. Many donors have already given or are giving less this year than in the past.
Read Friday’s Bristol Herald Courier to learn what will happen if the agency does not get the money it needs.
