Today, Kingsport Police’s Vice Squad along with patrol officers executed a search warrant and arrested one man on drug charges.
According to police reports, the search warrant was for the residence of Carl Muncey, 41, of 945 Chadwick #2. When police entered, they said Muncey threw a bag of marijuana on the floor.
Reports also state that more marijuana was found in Muncey’s bedroom along with pills believed to be methadone (shceule II), suboxone (schedule III) and xanax (schedule IV).
Cash was seized as well, and police say they believe it to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.
Muncey will appear in court on July 20 at 9:30 a.m.
