»  Comments | Post a Comment

TAZEWELL, Va. – A 25-year-old Tazewell native, James W. “Will” Morefield, has won the Republican nomination to run for the 3rd District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.
Currently represented by Democrat Dan Bowling, the district includes parts of Tazewell, Buchanan and Russell counties.
“The people of Southwest Virginia deserve new leadership,” Morefield said in a written statement on the nomination. “For too long Richmond politicians have tried to use our money to buy their way out of problems, without much success.”
