The Bristol Virginia School System honored the Class of 2009 with the annual Senior Luncheon at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center on Wednesday, May 13. Will Wampler, class president, guided the class through a series of traditional activities. Other senior participants included class officers: Zak Kristofek, vice president; Anna Turner, secretary; Logan Pensinger, treasurer; and Katlin Luttrell, reporter. Also featured in the program were the senior members of the choral program, accompanied by Ms. Raejean Harman, Choral Director. Ms. Holly Fuller served as faculty sponsor for the luncheon.
Dr. Martin Ringstaff, principal, and representatives from community and educational organizations presented awards to the outstanding members of the senior class for scholarship, achievement, service, and leadership. Ms. Lynda McClanahan, senior awards chairperson, and Ms. Patsy Huff, guidance counselor, assisted with the presentations.
