Kingport Police Search For Suspects In 2 Armed Robberies

The Model City is dealing with two armed robberies in the span of one day.

Police in Kingport need your help finding three different suspects responsible for robbing two gas stations.

Kingport Police tell us the Roadrunner gas station located on South Wilcox Drive was robbed around 6:20 Sunday evening.

Investigators say a man walked into the station, approached the counter, then pulled a gun from under his shirt and demanded the clerk
hand him money from the registers.

Police say the man took the money and ran. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Kingsport Police are also looking for two masked men who robbed a gas station at gunpoint over the weekend.
Kingsport Police tell us the robbery happened at the Chevron station on Carolina Pottery Drive around 2:45 Sunday morning.

Police say two men forced the clerk at gunpoint to open the cash registers behind the counter. They placed the money into a bag and ran.
One suspect was wearing a clown mask that police say had green hair, a white face, and red lips.
The other suspect, had a large mask in the shape of an actual baseball, with seams and eyes.
