Logan Turner is this week’s student of the week. He’s a 5th grader at Stonewall Jackson Elementary School in Bristol, Virginia. Logan enjoys school and is an avid reader.
"Reading is definitely one of my favorite subjects," Turner said.
The 11 year-old loves to read the Chronicles of Narnia, yet he’s still focused on being a top student.
"I want to have a good education and have a good job when I get older," Turner said.
He wants to become an architect and teachers at Stonewall Jackson believe anything is possible for Logan.
"He is very bright, he's a student that other students look up to and he is one who is a pillar of character in our school," said Heather Lawson, 5th grade teacher.
School work keeps Logan very busy, but he does have another interest that's just beginning to take off. Logan loves music and recently tried out several instruments to see which one he'll play next year in band.
"It's just a good way to express yourself and it's a lot of fun doing it," Turner said.
