Many diabetics have to use a needle to draw blood several times a day to test their blood sugar levels.
But a Massachusetts company is working on a needle-free alternative.
They have developed tiny sensors that would be implanted in the skin - like a tattoo - to measure changes in blood sugar levels.
CBS Coorespondent Drew Levinson explains how the technology works.
