Sullivan County health officials remain concerned over the H1N1 flu virus. Two cases have been confirmed so far.
"We are still surveying it on a daily basis. We actually get reports everyday of all the cultures that went in and which ones were positive," said Dr. Stephen May, Sullivan County Health Department.
He said he wants everyone to remember that H1N1 is more of a concern for children, the elderly and woman who are pregnant. Clyde Dolly from Bristol, Tennessee says his children are his number one concern when it comes to the H1N1 virus.
"We just don't want our babies, we don't want them to be all sick and possibly die," Dolly said.
Earlier this month, the world health organization declared the first flu pandemic in 41 years. The H1N1 flu virus has appeared over 70 countries around the world. The last pandemic was the Hong Kong flu of 1968 that killed about 1 million people.
