Deputies rescued a woman and child kidnapped at gunpoint, but the man accused of the crime faces even more legal trouble after an unexpected discovery.
Washington County Tennessee Sheriff's deputies said they found 28-year old Nicklaus E. Brush in a car on Cherokee Mountain Road.
With him, deputies said they found a woman that Brush kidnapped at gunpoint and assaulted.
Deputies said the child was not hurt.
While investigating the case, deputies said they found a marijuana growing operation inside a home in the 35-hundred block of Cherokee Road in Washington County.
Officers said they found marijuana plants with a street value of 41 thousand dollars.
Deputies charged Brush with especially aggravated kidnapping and possession of drugs for resale.
His bond: 150-thousand dollars.
