A Johnson City man will have to appear in court today after he fled from police when they tried to pull him over for a traffic violation over the weekend.
Johnson City Police arrested Jason L. Delgado on Saturday after they say he fled from police in his car, crashed into a tree and tried to run from them on foot.
Police say they then searched Delgado and found 8 grams of crack cocaine and a large amount of cash on him. Police also say they found multiple warrants out for his arrest in several jurisdictions, and that he was driving on a suspended license.
Delgado is scheduled to appear in court today at 1:30 p.m.
