June 4
* Someone who was either sick or drunk was lying on the railroad tracks at Commonwealth and Euclid Avenues. Officers checked on the person, who was then arrested about 7:45 p.m.
* A man left a Midway grocery store about 11:30 p.m. without buying anything. He was seen a short time later pulling steaks out of his clothing. The suspected beef-lifter might have gotten into a red jeep with another person.
June 5
* Police are looking for a suspicious-looking, white, windowless van spotted lurking outside of homes for extended periods of time on Long Crescent Drive. The Ford Econoline van has Tennessee plates, red and blue stripes, and a discernible but removed Mr. Rooter emblem on the side. The van was last seen at the intersection of Commonwealth and Euclid avenues.
* Officers responded to a Norfolk Avenue home at 4 p.m. after callers reported a broken door and window, and suspected that someone was in the basement.

June 4
* Officers arrived at a Volunteer Parkway address at 11:30 p.m. to find two women fighting over one man. The gentleman in question is married to one of the women, and sleeping with the other as well, police were told. One of the lovers did not want to stay in the same room as the other, who was escorted to the police station to wait for family to retrieve her.
June 5
* An officer responded to report of a found car title at an Anderson Street boat ramp. The officer called the listed owner, who said she sold the car, but did not know who she sold it to.

* The Croweville-Glade Spring Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at 110 Town Square in Glade Spring.
* The Greenfield Mobile Home Estates Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenfield Mobile Home Estates in Bristol, Va.
* The Hayters Gap Evening Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Clinch Mountain Fire Department in Washington County.
