A Johnson City man stands accused of raping a juvenile earlier this month.
Yesterday, investigators with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ernest B. Hamm, 66, of 1703 E. Oakland Ave, and charged him with aggravated rape.
The arrest stems from an investigation into the report of the rape of a juvenile which occurred on July 9 in the 1100 block of Unaka Avenue in Johnson City.
Hamm is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court Tuesday.
