Shots Reported At Cherry Hill Lead to Early Morning Arrest

Early Sunday morning around 4 a.m. officers arrested one Johnson City man for allegedly threatening someone with a gun.

According to police reports, Johnson City Police responded to Cherry Hill Apartments, 1500 Bell Ridge Road, on reports of shots being fired in the complex.

Officers say they spoke with Anthony Peak, 63, 1500 Bell RIdge Road, Apt. 41. Reports state that Peak was intoxicated at the time. Others at the scene reported to police that Peak had threatened someone with a gun.

Officers arrested Peak and charged him with aggravated assualt and public intoxication. He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,500 bail. He will appear in sessions court tomorrow.
